Kelly Carrera

Kelly received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University in 2014 and specializes in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation. She enjoys working with a variety of patients, with a specific focus on endurance athletes. Kelly focuses her treatments on a combination of manual therapy, exercise, and education in order to prevent the re-occurrence of injury. She is trained in video gait analysis and enjoys helping injured patients return to running. In her free time, Kelly enjoys HIIT classes, playing tennis, and traveling.

Sally Fansler

Sally has extensive clinical expertise - treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries, postural dysfunctions and overuse syndromes in Chicago for more than 30 years. She has a special interest in manual therapy, sports medicine, and lower extremity biomechanics. She has attended numerous continuing education courses to advance her knowledge base and displays an obvious passion for the physical therapy profession. Sally is invested in each patient she treats striving to achieve their goals and make a positive experience at Lakeshore PT.

Julia Glick

Julia is passionate about empowering her patients through corrective exercise and manual techniques in order to help them return to what they love doing. She strives to educate each patient to achieve his or her optimal benefit from physical therapy and to progress independently once the PT journey is completed. Julia received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Illinois University. She played Ultimate Frisbee and loves to collaborate with a variety of athletes on their recovery.

Constance Karwandyar

Constance is from Nashville but now considers Chicago home. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Belmont University in 2014 and achieved her designation of orthopedic certified specialist in 2017. She feels passionate about empowering her patients with the right knowledge and tools so they may actively participate in their recovery process along the way. Constance values relationships and enjoys getting to know each of her patients personally and create a unique program tailored to their personal goals. As a previous collegiate lacrosse player, she also has a strong interest in return to play rehab and overall injury prevention.

Kate grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017. She enjoys working with a variety of patients and focuses on a holistic approach to patient care to avoid re-injury and correct movement dysfunctions. Kate is passionate about creating relationships with patients and helping them reach their personal goals. When she's not working, Kate enjoys trying new restaurants with friends, taking exercise classes, and doing the New York Times crossword puzzle.

Wren Sweeney

Office Manager, Lincoln Park/Lakeview
Wren is devoted to customer service. They ensure that scheduling and insurance billing run smoothly, verifying patient benefits and confirming upcoming appointments so that our patients can focus on their recovery. Whether they're following up with insurance companies to make sure claims are processed properly or amusing and engaging patients with their daily trivia and Questions of the Day, their friendly and helpful personality is always visible.

Karlie Sanchez

Front Office Coordinator, Lakeview
Karlie is the welcoming face at the front desk of the downtown location. She enjoys greeting our patients, ensuring they understand the details of their benefits, and making their visit comfortable and convenient from beginning to end. Hailing from California, she is currently studying Pre-Law at the University of Illinois-Chicago. In her free time Karlie enjoys trying new restaurants, reading new books, and spending time outdoors.
